Connie Borth has retired from the Brockton Child Care Centre after a remarkable 34 years. The municipality presented her with a certificate of congratulations during the June 4 council meeting. From left: Mayor Chris Peabody, Borth and CAO Sonya Watson. In making the presentation, Peabody emphasized the importance of this service. Coun. Tim Elphick thanked her for dedication to Brockton, and for “ensuring the young minds in the municipality are supported and families have a place to send their children.” He wished her all the best in her retirement.
