Britespan supports Wingham hospital with $8,000 donation

WINGHAM – The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received a donation of $8,000 from the team at Britespan Building Systems Inc. that will go towards updating the staff locker room.

“It was important for us to assist the Wingham and District Hospital with this project as we knew it directly benefited our local health care workers,” Rob Stute, Britespan partner, said in a release.

The hospital foundation announced that this donation from Britespan will allow for an aesthetic refresh to the change room, turning it from a “1960s throwback to a modern space that is welcoming and comfortable.”

“This space isn’t public facing but it’s important for hospital staff to have privacy and a place to decompress and transition from work to home,” states the release.

“This is a special gift that honours the value and hard work our local healthcare workers contribute to our hospital and community,” Nicole Duquette-Jutzi, executive director of the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation, said in the release.

“Everyone at the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation is grateful to the team at Britespan for continuing to be such loyal supporters and strong community builders.”
