‘Battle of the Badges’ raises $2,000 for Saugeen Hospice Inc.

There was one clear and overwhelming winner in the Family Day “Battle of the Badges” fundraising hockey game at the Walkerton arena between firefighters and OPP – Saugeen Hospice. And by the way, the final score in the game was 3-1 for the firefighters. (Pauline Kerr photo)
BROCKTON – Saugeen Hospice Inc., (SHI) said in a press release on Tuesday that it is pleased to announce the tremendous success of the charity hockey game between the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Walkerton Fire Department at the Walkerton arena on Family Day.
