LMH CEO comments on temporary closure of OB unit

It was announced last week that there will be a temporary closure of the obstetrics (OB) department at Listowel Memorial Hospital. This is due to a lack of trained obstetrical nurses available within the OB department, as maternity leaves are leaving the department with only two nurses left.
