CHESLEY - More than 1,200 Grade 4 students from across Grey and Bruce counties took part in the 24th annual Grey Bruce Children’s Water Festival, despite a shortage of volunteers forcing some activity stations to close for the first time in the event’s history.

WALKERTON - Grade 5 and 6 students from Walkerton District Community School (WDCS) ran for their mental and physical health on Wednesday as part of a local initiative organized by the Brockton and Area Family Health Team. (BAFHT).

WALKERTON - Local police gave two presentations, one in Kincardine and one in Walkerton, warning residents of a sharp rise in fraud and cryptocurrency scams which are a growing threat that’s already cost victims more than $600,000 in the community this year.

Tyler Knechtel, owner of Junction 4 & 19 Walkerton’s Fishing Supply Store, spent his Monday morning catching rainbow trout in the river along the local trails on May 12.
