LISTOWEL – One person was charged after an assault in the Municipality of North Perth earlier this month.
On Jan. 4, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of an assault that occurred on Davidson Avenue North in Listowel. The accused had assaulted the victim with an object, and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
Brantley Byerlay, of no fixed address, has been charged with assault with a weapon, and fail to comply with probation order.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
