Dear Editor:
RE: Christians marginalized, March 14.
Really? Since when have Christians in this country been marginalized?
Pat Woode doesn’t have the slightest idea what it is to be marginalized, for I take it that not only is she Christian, but white as well. I would like to ask her: how many churches are there in Fergus/Wellington County?
Do you have to be afraid of someone hurling racist slurs at you, or worse, when you walk down the street? Are you afraid that you will be shot down in cold blood in your place of worship this Sunday or Easter holiday?
How many statutory holidays do you get to celebrate the Christian holidays? I get none to celebrate mine. Do you really think these attitudes are going to make this country a better place to live, even for Christians?
“God’s law”, if it truly is “God’s law” does not belong to Christians alone. Maybe you need to be reminded that Jesus, who is at the center of your faith, was Jewish.
