Province caps OPP costs at 11 per cent, again

MORRIS-TURNBERRY – Mirroring last year, increases to municipal policing costs for 2027 will be capped at 11 per cent, says Premier Doug Ford’s government.  The provincial government’s Solicitor General, Michael S. Kerzner, sent correspondence to Morris-Turnberry council mid-August, outlining that “our government recognizes the importance of providing municipalities with predictability,” as budget planning season closes…
