Peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Mrs. Elda Catherine (Keith) Nethery of Wingham, at the age of 91 years.
Cherished wife of the late Terry Nethery (2016).
Loving mother of Elizabeth & Rick O’Neil, Keith & Suzanne Nethery, Ruth & Dan McDonald, Esther & John Sizeland, and Murray Nethery.
Dear grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 3.
Sister-in-law of Bev Kennedy, and Gloria Hedley.
Predeceased by parents William & Elizabeth (Stobo) Keith, brothers Jack (Mary) Keith, Gordon (Helen) Keith, and Bruce (Helen) Keith, sisters Jean (Leonard) Bannerman, and Grace (Ken) Townsend, in-laws Shirley (Lee) Boucher, Ferne (David) Hedley, Peggy (Jim) Smith, Roger Kennedy, and Jane Ann Nethery.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, Blyth on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will take place at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Trinity Anglican Church, Blyth or Wingham Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
