Local mother’s initiative leads to sensory kits in OPP cruisers across Ontario

LISTOWEL – Across Ontario, OPP are now equipped with specially crafted sensory kits to help individuals stay calm when overwhelmed while interacting with police.  The kits include noise-cancelling headphones, a teddy bear, sunglasses, a fidget cube and an informational pamphlet.  Listowel mother and child and youth worker Katie Scott’s son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum…
