Kathleen Irene (Cooper) Barbour of Listowel, and formerly of Owen Sound, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in her 95th year, after a sudden brief illness. She is now at her peaceful home in heaven with her Saviour.
She was the cherished wife of the late Pearce Barbour.
Loving mother of Bryan Barbour & Tena Van’ t Foort of Owen Sound, Doug & Hannah Barbour of Nanaimo, BC, Dianne & Jim Swan of Wroxeter, Darlene & Dan York of Vanguard, SK, Carol Barbour of Listowel, Stephen & Melinda Barbour of Huntsville, Kathy & Steven Jamison of Davenport, FL, Scott & Milva Barbour of Orangeville, and Wayne & Erica Barbour of Brampton.
Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her twin brother Keith Cooper, sister Blanche McDowell, and brothers Harold Cooper, and George Cooper.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service was held at Listowel Salvation Army Citadel on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. The service was live-streamed and the link is available on the funeral home website.
Interment was in Annan Cemetery.
