It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia ‘Patty’ (Keeso) Hamilton on Monday, May 25, 2026, surrounded by her family and so much love, at her home in Listowel, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her husband Stuart Hamilton on June 4, 1987.
Loving mother of Randy (Sandra), Rob (Sandy), and Rodney (Bobbi Jo).
Proud and loving grandmother of Steven, Dane, and Erin Hamilton, Emma Barbo, and Brandon Suttis, and cherished great-grandmother of Serenity, Leaha, Cameron, and Alivia
Dear sister-in-law to Isabel Hamilton and Eileen Ament, and loved by so many nieces and nephews, especially Laurie Keeso. Also fondly remembered by cousins, Lori, Lynn, Kim and Tracey.
Patty’s greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother to her three sons. Her love, strength, and dedication to her family are unmatched. She was deeply involved in her community, giving so much of her time and heart to others through North Perth Seniors, VON Listowel, Meals on Wheels, and many other acts of kindness.
She will be greeted by the people who loved her most; her beloved husband, her parents Howard and Frances (Fluker) Keeso, and her brother Bill. Patty lived a life of compassion, caring, and giving her kind touch to many. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Patty’s Life was held at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion) on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated, and may be made through Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
