Council approved an official plan amendment for two adjacent industrial/residential developments north east of Listowel. The above images show the industrial development (left) which includes three industrial blocks, three commercial blocks, a stormwater management block, local streets, and walkways. While the range of housing units permitted in the residential development (inset) includes single detached homes, semi-detached homes, multi-units dwellings up to six storey high, as well as park land and trails. Additionally, a five acre plot (indicated in pink on the map) has been set aside for a new school to be constructed, should the school board receive funding. (MHBC Planning images)
