On January 8th, 2026, Rod Hickey of Wingham passed away at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Linda (Henderson) Hickey for 46 years.
Father of Darin, Dwayne (Rhonda), Trevor (Jenna) and the late Darryl.
Grandpa of three granddaughters; Lauren (Jordan), Natasha (Dallas) and Alannah
(Sam) and great-grandpa of two.
Dear brother of Lynn & Elva Hickey, Lyla Ann Harkness, Pam & Kalvin Fischer and Kevin & Margaret Hickey.
Brother-in-law of Larry & Diane Henderson.
Son-in-law of Gertie Henderson.
Predeceased by his parents Bob & Lila (Evans) Hickey, brother Emerson Hickey, brother-in-law Ivan Harkness and father-in-law Murray Henderson.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham. Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the North Huron Fire Department (please make cheques payable to the Township of North Huron) would be appreciated.
