At Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, Avaline Marie Wandel of Wingham passed away at the age of 83.
Devoted mom of Chele and Brian Stack of Wingham.
Loving grandma of Ryan Stack & Madeline Corrie of Clinton and Rory Stack of Wingham.
Avaline will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her husband Bill Wandel, parents Tom & Jean (Carey) Ballm, sister Margaret (Rudi) and infant sister Carol Ballm.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Friday, November 21st, 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm. A funeral service to honour Avaline’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at 11:00 am. Reception will follow at the Wingham Columbus Centre.
Interment will take place privately at Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the North Huron Foodshare or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Avaline’s family.
