Exceptional weather conditions during the last few weeks saw temperatures in Southwestern Ontario reaching into the high 20’s, with evening lows remaining balmy and warm up until midweek of October 8, when temperature dipped down to 1 degree celsius, resulting in visible early morning frost the following morning
Some beautiful sunset skies have had many drivers pulling over to capture mother nature’s colourful display- from dramatic yellows, to orange, pink and purples, the evening showcase of colours are another welcome gift of fall.
- First sight of frost seen in Gowanstown and many locations over the region, confirms Fall is knocking as the month progresses.
- An intense orange sky photo taken from Rocher Rd on Oct. 6.
- A rapidly changing sunset not only illuminated the sky but the field and surroundings below, as witnessed at the intersection of Line 84 meeting Line 23 in Listowel.
- Frost remains with the moon visible in the distance.
- Remaining visible in the morning sky was the waning gibbous moon.
