It is with heavy hearts, that the family of Joyce Irene Johnson of Listowel announces her passing on Monday, December 9th, 2024, in her 87th year. Joyce was known for a kind heart and her love of children. She was the beloved wife of Lowell Johnson. Dear mother of Rick (Rita) Johnson of New Liskeard, Barb (Doug) Berfelz of Listowel, Joan (Gary) Gibson of Kitchener, David (Laurie) Johnson of Pt. Clark, and Angie (Brian) McCracken of Listowel. Joyce will be deeply missed by 14 loving grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Elwood and Grace Newbigging and her brother Bill and brother Paul Newbigging, grand daughter Jenna McCracken, father in law Earl Johnson and mother in law Lorraine Johnson, brother in law Robert Johnson and sister in law Gloria Johnson.
Joyce will be dearly missed by brother Don (Karen) Newbigging, brother in law Lyle (Bernice) Johnson, sister in law Glenys Johnson, sister in law Elizabeth (Floyd) Herman and brother in law Michael Johnson and partner Arlene Goldwater. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held in the spring.
