With great sadness we announce the passing of Ruth Elizabeth (Groves) Seehaver of Listowel, on Monday, April 8, 2024, in her 100th year.
Ruth was born in Listowel on July 14, 1924 to the late Harry and May (Smith) Groves.
She was the beloved wife of George Seehaver (2012) whom she married on October 4, 1943.
Loving mother of Richard & Eva Seehaver of Listowel. Loved grandma of Bryan & Jennifer Seehaver, and Kelly Durbin, all of Waterloo, and Philip Seehaver of Rollingdam, New Brunswick, and great-grandmother of Abbey Seehaver, Jillian & Aaron Henhoeffer, Jordan Durbin, and Samantha Durbin.
Ruth is fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sons Bryan (1959) and Barry (1980), seven sisters and five brothers.
A private family service will be held, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
