Meeting of Creative Needle Club

The Creative Needle Club meets the third Tuesday of every month at Listowel Mennonite Church. Each month the group either learns a new technique or works on a project, sometimes led by a member or a guest. The group’s most common project is sewing; however, it has also done crochet, knitting, paper folding. Each meeting features a ’show and tell’ of projects that have completed. The January project was tying quilts for the Mennonite Central Relief Committee. In one day, the group managed to tie eight quilts. The quilts will go to some disaster either close to home or abroad.
