Randy Willick from Walkerton was one of six recipients across the province to receive the Curling Community Hero Award from CurlON, the governing body of curling in Ontario. Willick oversees the very successful School Curling Program that involves two local high schools and six area elementary schools. He leads a group of volunteers from the Walkerton Golf and Curling Club (WGCC) who teach/coach students the sport of curling along with many other curling volunteer activities. The Club also received $200 towards the curling program.
