Linda June (Kenny) Balzer of Gorrie passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice, Stratford, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in her 77th year after a courageous battle with ALS.
Loving mother of Jason (Healy) Balzer of Listowel and Jon (Carol) Balzer of Strathroy. Beloved “Grammie” to Camden, Hudson, Liam, Lexi and Reid. Fondly remembered by her sisters Pat (Dave) Neath and Deb (Rick) Devine both of Guelph, nieces, nephews and friends. Linda is predeceased by her parents Michael and June (Hull) Kenny.
Linda will be remembered as a kind and caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will also be remembered as an exceptional nurse who dedicated over 40 years to her profession. Employed as a Registered Nurse at the Wingham and District Hospital for 30 years and Braemar Nursing home in Wingham for another 10, her commitment and compassion will not be forgotten by those who worked alongside her, and those fortunate enough to be under her care.

A private celebration will be held to honour Linda’s life.
