North Perth Westfield hosted the annual North Region elementary school triple ball (volleyball) tournament on Dec. 6 in Listowel, with the host Warriors winning the girls’ division over F.E. Madill. Milverton Public School won the boys’ bracket, also defeating the Madill Mustangs in the final. Six area teams – Westfield, Madill, Milverton, Mornington, Howick and Elma – competed in the triple ball tournament, a variation on traditional volleyball.
