BROCKTON – Wow, October is flying by – it has been busy!
Canadian Library Month, Cyber Security Awareness Month, Small Business Week and Ontario Public Library Week all happened this month, and the trick-or-treaters have yet to visit. And, to top things off, our brand-new Bookmobile hit the road! You can visit the Library website (library.brucecounty.on.ca) and call or drop by any Bruce County Library branch for information on the Bookmobile; be sure to say “Hi!” to Bookmobile team, Alyssa and Mike.

Tree of Warmth for the Dorrell Young Fund – Nov. 13 to Dec. 1
All branches of the Bruce County Public Library will accept donations of new, unwrapped, warm articles of clothing which will be donated to the Dorrell Young Fund and distributed to families throughout Bruce County. Please drop your items at any library location by Dec. 1.
Food for Fines – Nov. 27 to Dec. 8
Clear some of your overdue fines and help support local food banks at the same time! For every non-perishable food item donated, $5 will be cleared from your library fines (up to a maximum of $25). Those without fines are welcome to donate as well.
Employment Skills, Training and Support – Cargill Branch, Thursday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Drop into the library and speak to employment and training specialists from VPI Working Solutions & the Adult Learning Centres. Learn about all their amazing programs, get help to upgrade your skills and find a job.

An early math literacy program in partnership with EarlyON for preschool ages 2-4 where they will explore early number recognition and math skills. Registration is required.
