Listowel U11 #3 Legends capture Huron-Perth ‘B’ title

The Listowel Legends U11 #3 softball team won the ‘B’ Division at the Huron Perth Fastball year-end tournament in Exeter over the weekend. Entering the tournament 12th out of 24 teams in the league, the Legends were slotted in the fourth spot in the B Division. After dropping their first game of the tournament to Exeter, the Legends rebounded with wins of 12-11 over Mitchell, 15-6 over Stratford and 14-8 over Brussels in the semifinal. After a 30-minute break, Listowel took on Mitchell in the final, winning 19-8 to secure the championship. The team includes: Hailyn Card, Cala Montgomery, Paisley Stevens, Camdyn McLaughlin, Katie Rapien, Addison Bridge, Myia Loube, Hanley Meulensteen, Scarlett Fowler, Leah Roth, Bethany Reynolds, and coaches Hollie Card, Alyssa Eaton and Jeff Card.
