Riverview Park Residence made a corporate donation of $5,000 on July 20 to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation’s ongoing $250,000 project to completely outfit the site with new IV pumps. “Riverview residents are all about and committed to community support,” commented Riverview Park Executive Director Caroline Hill. “And the hospital, especially with our aging population, is something that’s going to be that pillar of support within the community. So it’s really important for us to support causes like this.” LMHF coordinator Mich Matheson added that the Foundation hopes to have received approximately $750,000 through donations and all fundraisers for ongoing projects by year’s end. “We’re very fortunate to have the support we do in this community,” she said.
