WALKERTON – South Bruce OPP say one person has died following a collision in downtown Walkerton yesterday afternoon.
The collision at the intersection of Durham Street and Jackson Street happened early in the afternoon of July 12.
Few details were provided by police, other than the investigation was in its early stages.
On Thursday morning, via Twitter, the OPP provided a brief update.
“Update: Vehicle and pedestrian involved. The pedestrian was airlifted to a trauma center where they were pronounced deceased. Investigation is continuing. Updates will be shared as they become available.”
