Mary Elaine (Lambert) Tanner, of Royal Terrace, Palmerston and formerly of Listowel, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in her 80th year.
Wife of the late Don Tanner (2014). Mother of Ellen and Ben Nand of North York, David and Jamie Tanner of Kansas City, Robert and Alice Tanner of Chengdu, China, and Scott and Krista Tanner of Listowel.
Grandmother of Alexandra and Jacob Nand, and Colin and Charlotte Tanner.
Sister of Doreen and Peter Little of Fergus, and John & Joanne Lambert of Prince Edward County, and sister-in-law of Marion Scott of Milverton, Margaret and Don McMillan of Stratford, and Bob Tanner and friend Joan Kaufman of Listowel. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Celebration of her life will be held at the Listowel Legion on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with Words of Remembrance at 1:30 p.m. Rev. George Russell officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
