Pride flag removed, damaged in Perth East

PERTH EAST – Perth County OPP are asking the public for information after a Pride flag was removed from a flag pole and damaged in Perth East.

Police say they received reports of the act of mischief on June 16. The investigation determined that two unknown individuals attended the Line 61 address around 9:50 p.m. on June 15.

Members of the Perth County OPP are continuing to investigate. “The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact police immediately. If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges with be laid,” states a June 20 media release.
