Huron-Kinloss resident facing several charges from November 2022 crash near Lucknow

ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH – A resident of Huron-Kinloss is facing several charges following a Huron County OPP investigation of a head-on crash that took place on Nov. 15, 2022.

Police say a pickup truck and SUV crashed head-on on Lucknow Line, south of Lucknow, around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2022. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to hospital, with one of the drivers sustaining serious injuries.

Following what police are calling a “lengthy investigation,” a 50-year-old Huron-Kinloss resident has been charged with:

  • impaired operation – causing bodily harm;
  • operation over 80 – causing bodily harm;
  • two counts of operation while prohibited; and
  • two counts of driving while under suspension.

“The accused has appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich, and his matter is currently before the courts,” states a release from Huron County OPP.
