Howick Township staff and local dignitaries gathered at the Howick Optimist Pool in Gorrie to celebrate the official unveiling of the new splash pad and playground. The roughly $252,000 project was funded in part by the federal government ($93,977.94), provincial government ($78,307), and Howick Township (the remainder of the costs).
