On May 7, a cold and wet day could not dampen the spirits of the 2023 Hike For Hospice. For committee members and the hikers who braved the nasty weather, this was the first opportunity to participate since the onset of COVID-19. A very successful hike was held in the three communities of Hanover, Mildmay and Walkerton.
Sylvia Stewart, Saugeen Hospice Inc. fundraising chair, has announced that the goal of $80,000 was met and surpassed with a total of $147,317.
Plans are underway for 2024 Hike For Hospice, with hopes of more locations participating throughout southern Grey-Bruce. Please do not hesitate to contact Saugeen Hospice If you would like to hike and or help out.
