Doris Fern McFadden formerly of Paisley passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the Hanover Care Center.
Survived by her children Harvey (Jennifer), Stephen (Allana), Brad (Mary), Darcy (Cathy), Tammy Cadesky (Perry), Charlene. Grandchildren- Samantha Ash, Rachel Karcher (Chris), Kathryn Palmer (Chris), Shannon (Bryan), Marnie (Jake), Terry (Cal), Geordie, Conner, Duncan, Logan, and Alisha. Great grandchildren- Jessica, Liam, Maeve, Emmett, Harlan. Great-great grandchildren- twins Macie & Madison & Peyton. Brother Jerry Whitbourn, sister- in-law Marie Whitbourn, in-laws Lloyd and Marie McFadden, Gladys McFadden, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her loving husband Wilmer, sisters Marjorie and Joan, brothers Harold, Don and Fred, in-laws Harry Snelgrove, Kay Whitbourn, Fred Westbrook, & Grace Whitbourn, nephew Bruce Snelgrove, in-laws Allen McFadden, Ed & Shirley McFadden, Margaret & Ed Collins, Norma and Lloyd Platt, Ruby & Johnson Woods, Lois and Bruce McFadden, Ross and Verna McFadden.
Deep appreciation to all the staff at the Hanover Care Centre, for making her final years enjoyable.
Friends and relatives were invited to visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Walkerton. Rev. Rob Hiscox officiated.
Interment was in Douglas Hill Cemetery, Cargill.
