LISTOWEL – One person has been charged after stealing items from a local business.
The Perth County OPP was called to a business on Wallace Avenue North in Listowel on Feb. 7 just before 12 p.m., after a person was witnessed shoplifting.
A 30-year-old resident of North Perth has been charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
