Charges laid after two-vehicle crash in Brockton

BROCKTON – A 17-year-old Brockton resident is facing charges following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of the Greenock-Brant Line and Chepstow Road on Jan. 10.

South Bruce OPP, the Walkerton Fire Department and Bruce County EMS responded to the scene around 8:45 a.m. to find one vehicle on its side and a broken hydro pole. One driver was extricated their vehicle by firefighters.

The second driver, a 17-year-old Brockton resident, has been charged with careless driving, driving while under suspension, driving a motor vehicle with no insurance and use unauthorized license plates.

Police say both drivers were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
