The Formosa Country Christmas committee is continuing to make community donations. Pictured, from left: FCC committee members Marianne Batte, Shirley Kuntz and chair Carl Zettel present Formosa Lions President Jim Batte with a cheque for $15,000 to go towards updating the Formosa Recreation Complex. The original complex and outdoor pad were built in 1978 by the Lions. The outdoor pad is being replaced and covered. The $850,000 project will be a great asset to the community of Formosa and the families. The project, although not yet completed is ready for ice and Formosians are eagerly waiting for Mother Nature to send some ice-cold weather.
