Diana Sweets set to transition restaurant into new marketplace, café style business

Diana Sweets Restaurant in downtown Listowel is set to become the Diana Sweets Marketplace & Café when it reopens its doors in late February. The new business model will feature a coffee bar and lunch counter, where beverages, sandwiches, soups and a small variety of baked goods will be available, along with seating for 15-20 patrons. The rear kitchen space will remain intact to service the couple’s catering business and the new storefront of the space, which will house fridges and freezers with fresh, whole foods and homemade take-out meals for sale.
