Walkerton U13 OWHL Capitals win Megah Byers Memorial Tournament

The Walkerton Capitals U13 OWHL squad capped a successful weekend at the Meghan Byers Memorial Tournament in Mount Forest with a gold medal, defeating the host Mount Forest Rams 2-1 in the championship game on Sunday, Dec. 11. The Capitals allowed only four goals in five games on their way to the gold medal. Players on the team are: Tessa Kuntz, Brooklyn Rhody, Casey Dupuis, Aurora Dale, Faith Hinsperger, Regan Barrett, Quinn McLeod, Myra Filsinger, Ava Batte, Madison Hammell, Garyn Abell, Madi Johns, Brynlie Wilcox and Macy Coleman.
