WALKERTON – Ang Freiburger, on behalf of Race Team #37, met with Charlene Myke, the development manager for Easter Seals, on Saturday, Nov. 26, to give their yearly donation to Easter Seals.
Easter Seals president and CEO Kevin Collins said that they had a goal of raising $10,000 to purchase three adaptive tricycles for the 2023 camping season.
The team’s donation, which is being matched by Motion, is going directly to Easter Seals campers so they can experience the freedom, joy and sheer thrill of riding a bike on their own. These bikes will be enjoyed year after year by hundreds of kids at camp.
Easter Seals has a 100-year legacy of helping kids with physical disabilities be kids – and we are happy to ‘give back,’ said Freiburger.
