HANOVER – The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board held its inaugural meeting on Nov. 21 at the Catholic Education Centre in Hanover.
Trustees stated their declaration and officially began their term of office.
The 2022-23 chair and vice-chair were also elected.
The chair of the board is Lori Di Castri, trustee for Huron-Kinloss, Kincardine, and Brockton Ward 31. She has been a trustee since 2010 and was first elected chair in 2019. She now begins her fourth term as chair.
Vice-chair is Linda Strader, trustee for Brockton Ward 34 and 36. She has been a trustee since 2019. This is her first term as vice-chair.
Trustees serving alongside Di Castri and Strader are Bev Eckensweiler (South Bruce), Robyn Garvey (West Grey, Hanover, Grey Highlands and Southgate), Lucie Desbiens (Saugeen Shores, Arran-Elderslie, Chatsworth, Georgian Bluffs, Northern Bruce Peninsula and South Bruce Peninsula), and Bruce Muise (Owen Sound, Meaford and The Blue Mountains).
