The Perth-Huron Jersey Dairy Cattle Club has a very active membership with breeders of Jerseys from Perth and Huron counties. The little brown cow from both counties is known all over the world for outstanding type and production. The club recently recognized Carolyn Van Dorp (pictured), longtime secretary-treasurer of the organization. She was recognized for her 40 years of dedicated service to the club, while milking a herd of Jerseys of her own north-west of Seaforth. The organization presented the recently-retired Van Dorp with a wall clock in appreciation of her decades of service.
