WINGHAM – On Saturday, Nov. 12 the Lighting of the Lights returned to Cruickshank Park in Wingham.
In addition to the lighting of the lights, the event featured members of the Wingham United Church choir leading a carol sing, a small bonfire supervised by Wingham firefighters, and hot chocolate and cookies courtesy of ReMax Realty.
Organizers say there was “a very nice crowd, considering the drizzly weather, but the weather could have been much worse.”
The Wingham BIA purchases the necessary lights (new and replacement) for the lighting each year, and the BIA thanks all of the volunteers for their help with making Josephine Street Christmas lights some of the best in the area.
