The Elma Express U13 Girls Fastball team had a successful weekend in the Goderich Lions Centennial Tournament on July 23-24. The girls started slow Saturday, with morning losses that bookended an afternoon victory. A better runs for mark allowed them to head to the semifinals on Sunday, when Elma beat the Clinton Mustangs 9-7 in the semis and then bested the Corunna Lady Giants 14-12 in the tournament final.
