HURON EAST – Huron County OPP is asking the public for any information related to a recent theft of pigs from a barn in Huron East.
Police say there were recently contacted by a farmer, who informed them that 44 pigs were stolen from his barn on North Line sometime between March 1 and June 21.
A press release from police states the pig would have weighed anywhere between 60 to 200 pounds. The estimated value of the stolen pigs is $12,000.
