To hybrid or not to hybrid: Council to return to chambers in hybrid format, full in-person to be reviewed at later date

On June 20, North Perth council voted to return to chambers in a hybrid model for now – though they will address moving fully in-person in August. The above setup is the current model they will be returning to, but there is some wiggle room in how they arrange the furniture. Coun. Lee Anne Andriessen raised concern in the comfortability of the setup, but Mayor Todd Kasenberg reassured that this format wouldn’t impact council. (Submitted photo)
