Tree planted in Whitechurch in recognition of Queen’s 70 years of service

A tree was planted at the site of the former Whitechurch Hall in recognition and gratitude for the Queen’s 70 years of service to the British Commonwealth. The tree was donated by Richard Christy, a political sociology professor at Wilfrid Laurier University and resident of Huron-Kinloss, on May 20. This tree is part of the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative, which encourages everyone to plant a tree between October 2021 to the end of the jubilee year in 2022.
