NORTH PERTH – Tips from the public assisted in locating an impaired driver, who was arrested in North Perth on Good Friday.
On April 15, just after 10 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in North Perth. Officers located the vehicle at a business on Wallace Avenue North, Listowel, and determined the driver was impaired. They were arrested, and transported to a local operations centre for further testing.
Chad Park, 43, of Listowel, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Stratford court to answer to the charge.
