North Perth firefighters work at an apartment building located at the intersection of Elma Street West and Havelock Avenue on the evening of Wednesday, April 20. A fire in the upper unit of the building had all three stations of the NPFD respond, with Fire Chief Janny Pape reporting “extensive” damage to the unit, as well as smoke and water damage to the adjacent apartments.
