‘A Third Way’: Mayor Kasenberg’s North Perth education plan receives $1.8 million in funding from province

North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg (pictured) and Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece announced a provincial investment of $1.8 million into a Technology and Skills Learning Hub at Smith Steel and Fabrication in Atwood. Mayor Kasenberg says it isn’t every day a mayor gets to be a part of an announcement like the one on April 19. It is something which will hugely impact not only the municipality but the whole region. The hub will offer ‘a third way’ for education in North Perth, where youth can learn hands-on, high-demand trades right in their backyard – instead of travelling to larger centres.
