Walkerton squad caps successful season with provincial championship

The Walkerton Capitals U15 girls rep team capped a successful season by winning the OWHA ‘B’ Championship last weekend with a thrilling 3-2 win over the Keene Wolverines in the championship game. WALKERTON – At the beginning of the 2021-22 hockey season, the Walkerton Capitals U15 girls rep team set a series of goals for the year. Among those goals was finishing first in their league, to qualify for the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) Southern Championship weekend, and to qualify for the OWHA Provincial Championship weekend.…
