Palmerston resident charged following domestic investigation

NORTH PERTH – Perth County OPP have charged a Palmerston resident following a domestic investigation.

Police say they received a report of a person breaking into a residence in North Perth on March 25 around 5:30 p.m.

During the investigation, police determined the accused damaged the victim’s door. Police say the victim was not injured.

Police say the accused and the victim “were known to each other.”

A 24-year-old Palmerston resident was arrested and charged with mischief – domestic.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
